Mac vs pc: Directx10 Vs. OpenGL revisited

Jun 2, 2008 - yeah, it is the only "game" that uses it so far. it doesn't have any visual advantages, but performance gets a massive help. it makes the ati cards perform on par with the more expensive geforce cards. always a plus for price/performance.

Jun 3, 2008 - there are no graphical improvements that i am aware of. but if you have a card that has trouble running the game on dx 10 you can increase the settings on dx 10.1. i'm not really sure what you mean by making the graphics more stable. if you are talking about the gpu, i doubt that the api used has that much of an impact.
