This 5 minute preview of my first feature film basically shows the first 5 minutes of my movie.THE QUALITY OF THE PREVIEW is not the same as the final product! Voice over quality and editing still needs to take place!In this film, I will use a "common sense" approach to serious issues such as abortion, capital punishment, stem cell research, and euthanasia. This isn't about religion nor is it about being a hippie.It's half-documentary/half-reality adventure. You don't see any of the reality/adventure part until later, when we journey to Ottawa for the March for Life.Do not HATE me for this film. If my views aren't the same as yours, then show some decency in your comments.Break-down of the views presented:Abortion - too damaging for the economy, only allow abortion when the mother's life is endangered, when the mother is raped, when the child is conceived through incest, or if there are serious deformities.Euthanasia - only allow if they can verbally express this desire or if it's in their written willStem-cell research - only allow adult stem-cell research (which is proven to be the most effective form) because embryo stem cell research has provided no results, only has only wasted government moneyCapital punishment - allow for the most serious of criminals. Whereas the unborn child is innocent, a criminal is guilty. Sometimes women become pregnant then miscarry without realising either, and thought they have had late periods! How is that different from artificial miscarriages?

The best protection against having an unwanted pregnancy is quite simply - don't have premarital sex. And for those women who were raped, well, they account for less than 1% of abortions anyways.

For many cases it is the same as forcefully making another child suffer as he/she is born if the mother is already struggling to live herself.

Each case is different, if the mother decides it is not in her family's interest to have the child for whatever reason -- thank for pointing out rape, but the statistic is wrong, rape account for 1% of pregnancy not abortion, the rate of abortion as result of rape is significantly higher. Would you torture the rape victim so that everytime she sees her child, she is reminded of her ordeal?

Jun 22, 2008 - I mum didn't abort me cos she had a choice and she wanted to give birth. If she really didn't want me, she would have the abortion anyway even if it is illegal. The only difference is that she would have it done in a back street in a dangerous situation without proper medical supervision, putting her life in danger as well, instead of in a hospital where doctor would make sure she would be safe.

Jun 22, 2008 - Well you see, most people in this country tend to obey the law. If your mother didn't want you, how about the choice of adoption? She still doesn't have the baby. Heck, I wouldn't mind the government paying the mother to have the baby, rather than kill it.
