***Won the Das Das Hakusho award at Animazement 2008 in Durham, NC***Anime: Yu Yu HakushoSong: Mitternacht by E Nomine, from their album FisternisIn Yu Yu Hakusho, the Makai Tournament Arc is disappointing plotwise, but has the most beautiful animation in the entire show, which makes it perfect for an AMV.In this video, I wanted to show Hiei, Kurama, and Yusuke at their best, their most badass, and I wanted to make those who've never seen the show WANT to buy the DVDs right away. The choruses of the song are dedicated to each of the character's Makai Tournament fights and during the stanzas I tried to give you an idea of each character's backstory, their strengths, weaknesses and fighting style. I didn't forget about the other characters too, everyone gets a little bit of time in the bridge.I edited this on Canopus DVStorm2 with XPlode4 FX and compressed it with the Canopus Procoder.

Jun 6, 2008 - Yep. I met 10 other YYH fans there from all over the country, one girl even flew in from Arizona. They were the other YYH cosplayers: Hiei, Kuronue, Mazuko!Yusuke, Youko, and Koenma. I was with Hiei most of the time.

Yu Yu Hakusho was the first anime I really got obsessed with, and it's still in my top 5. Thank you for making such an awesome video!

Jun 28, 2008 - I remember sitting and watching this on the giant screen after the skits. I already loved it becuase it was YYH but I remember the beat in my chest becuase they were playing the music so loud. This was just plain epic.
